Montgomery Area Freethought Association is a social group for atheists, agnostics, skeptics, freethinkers, humanists, brights, and the non-religious. We have an informal meetup each week for food and conversation, and have a formal meetup each month with a speaker or organized program and discussion. We seek to provide support for one another, especially concerning issues faced from living in an area dominated by theists. We seek to learn more about ourselves, our purpose, our relationships to others, and how to live morally based on science, reason, justice, experience, and reliance on humanity itself. We are very interested in upholding the First Amendment right of separation of church and state.
